Allegations against Nenny May Confirmed
Nineteen-year-old Nigerian Author Nnenna Nwokoro popularly known as Nenny May has confirmed allegations of writing books that aren’t’ set in Nigeria.
The psychological and legal thriller author best known for her books Missing, and The Perfect Father has admitted that she set the books in varying locations that didn’t stem from her roots. The reason being, she admits in this Daily Post article, that her works are purely fiction and are set in a fictitious timeline and location, one governed by her imagination.
Nenny who is a student of Baze University in Abuja, Nigeria has admitted to her inspiration for the setting of her books stemming from the United States, but the plot of her stories are sourced from her mother land.
She one day hopes to find the courage to tell a story set in Nigeria, one that would inspire many authors and writers like her who would want to rise to fame through their written stories, but until then, she is anticipating the release of her third novel Miller Avenue Murder.
